TRX The total number of TRON blockchain accounts exceeds 400 million
Geneva, Switzerland, August 25, 2026-TRON DAO, a community governance DAO organization committed to accelerating Internet decentralization through blockchain technology and decentralized applications (dApps), announced today that the total number of accounts on the TRON blockchain has exceeded 400 million. This milestone reflects the continued activity of the network and further consolidates TRON's position as one of the most active blockchain networks in the world-its on-chain applications are driving real-world economic activity.
Since the launch of the Genesis block on June 25, 2018, TRON has reached its first 100 million accounts in four years. Since then, account growth has accelerated significantly: about 17 months later, on December 7, 2023, the number of online accounts exceeded 200 million; in less than three years, the total number of accounts doubled-exceeding 300 million on April 12, 2025, and crossed the 400 million mark on August 23, 2026.
TRON's expanding user base is reflected in the scale and volume of online activities. So far, TRON has processed more than 15.2 billion transactions, and the cumulative total transfer volume has exceeded US$29 trillion, becoming a key infrastructure for the flow of digital assets around the world. Its high throughput, low transaction costs and deep liquidity make it a leading settlement layer for stablecin payments, cross-border transfers and growing on-chain financial activities.

Recent developments include the launch of the S&P Pantera Digital Assets Index, which ranks the TRON blockchain as one of the top protocols in the benchmark based on protocol utility, on-chain liquidity and network activity. Collaboration with Anchorage Digital, Securitize and Bitnomial has also expanded institutions 'access to the TRON ecosystem.
