Currently, investors and institutions are closely watching the revised core PCE inflation data on September 30, as well as statements from Fed officials, for signs that could signal a shift in the policy outlook in a more dovish direction.
Market participants are closely monitoring on-chain activity and the flow of funds in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to determine whether Bitcoin's surge above $86,000 reflects organic investment or short-term trading activity. If the Fed's methodology changes to bring core PCE inflation closer to 3% after the latest rate hike, it will strengthen the view that tightening has peaked. This situation may restore institutional participation in Bitcoin, Layer 1 network and blockchain development in a sustainable manner.
