Shiba Inu (SHIB) spot trading and social popularity rebounded, but derivatives traders continue to withdraw.
Shiba Inu (SHIB)'s attention on spot trading and social platforms has rebounded, but derivatives traders are still withdrawing, and open interest in SHIB futures has dropped. Despite the growing popularity of discussions and the announcement by a U.S. exchange of new USDT trading pairs, participants in the leveraged market are reluctant to add new directional positions.
Large exchanges withdraw or reduce selling pressure
The latest online data shows that approximately 110 billion SHIB tokens have been transferred out of centralized exchanges. Such large outflows are often seen as a signal for investors to move assets into private wallets, potentially reducing the supply available for immediate sale and easing recent downward pressure.
Although a decline in exchange balances may sometimes signal an increase in prices, this factor alone does not guarantee an upward trend. Like many other digital assets, SHIB remains subject to broader market sentiment and liquidity flows that together shape current price dynamics.
At a time when the cryptocurrency market continues to face selling pressure, the reduction in the amount of SHIB available on exchanges may provide a short-term cushion for prices. Any more lasting recovery will depend on whether new or returning buyers can provide enough demand to absorb remaining selling interest.
Derivatives market is cautious, social heat cannot hide differences
In contrast to the rise in spot market activity and social dominance, open interest in SHIB futures fell, indicating that leveraged traders are becoming more cautious. Despite the rebound in attention, many participants are not increasing positions and are instead reducing exposure or avoiding new leveraged bets due to unclear price trends.
This divergence between explicit interest and actual positions highlights the fragile atmosphere of the market. While the new focus may spark short-term markets, a lack of liquidity support in the derivatives sector could limit the upside potential of SHIB unless broader confidence is restored.
The focus of the current situation is whether the combination of new listings on U.S. exchanges and declining exchange supply can turn social enthusiasm into real buying pressure. For now, if leveraged positions fail to rise simultaneously, Shiba Inu's attempt to rebound will still lack confidence.
Mass outflows are often seen as a potential signal for holders to transfer tokens into private wallets, rather than leaving them on exchanges for sale at any time. While such operations may reduce immediate seller supply, they do not confirm a bullish trend.
Wall Street moves into Web3 and tokenized assets
As the market landscape changes, the adoption of blockchain in the traditional financial sector is accelerating. While SHIB's technical indicators and exchange activity remain a focus, institutional interest has expanded beyond native digital assets. A major transformation is taking place-Wall Street is accelerating its entry into Web3. Through relevant platforms, investors can directly hold stocks of major U.S. companies, as well as gold and silver, in cryptocurrency wallets. Through the tokenization of real-world assets and systems that quickly match buyers and sellers at optimal prices, these platforms aim to eliminate the need for intermediaries and promote the further integration of traditional finance and blockchain technology.
