X has sued two British residents for manipulating a network of crypto accounts to defraud more than US$277,000.

X (formerly Twitter) has filed legal proceedings against two British residents, Vivek Kumar Sen and Zamyang Sherpa, accusing them of orchestrating a network of cryptocurrency-related accounts and withdrawing more than US$277,000 from the platform's "creator revenue sharing plan."

Details of the alleged coordinated operation

Court documents detail the operating model Company X alleges: The plan involved multiple accounts focused on cryptocurrency themes. Based on the content of the complaint, these accounts interact with each other regularly-quickly like, forward and respond to each other's posts-artificially increasing the participation indicator for determining the distribution of platform revenue.

Six major accounts were named in the lawsuit: @Vivek4real_,@Bitcoin_Teddy,@saylordocs,@TrendingBitcoin,@Kalshibacktest and @PolyBackTest. Between August 2023 and February 2026, these accounts allegedly earned a total of more than £ 207,000 in revenue by repeatedly posting the same or similar content and cultivating coordinated interactive behavior.

一份详细的资金分配清单显示,@Vivek4real_ 收到了74,332.44英镑(约合99,200美元),其次是 @Bitcoin_Teddy(50,065英镑,约合66,800美元)和 @saylordocs(49,441.91英镑,约合66,000美元)。剩余资金分配给了 @TrendingBitcoin(22,938.35英镑,约合30,600美元)、@PolyBackTest(6,705.25英镑,约合8,900美元)和 @Kalshibacktest(3,490.71英镑,约合4,600美元)。另一笔约411.28英镑(549美元)的付款与 @Bitcoin_Teddy 以及名为Stefan Mann的Stripe账户相关联,支付信息指向Sen和Sherpa。

Court documents state that three accounts-@Vivek4real_,@Bitcoin_Teddy and @saylordocs-have Stripe payment information linked to Sen, while the other three accounts are linked to Sherpa through other financial data.

Investigators provided a timeline of postings and payments that showed highly synchronized activity between multiple crypto accounts, significant fund transfers, and direct contact established by defendants through the payment system.

Legal action and its broader impact

Company X suspended the account involved on August 18, 2026, and formally filed a lawsuit on September 17. The company is seeking to recover at least £ 207,384 (US$276,780), as well as damages, legal fees and interest. In addition, Company X is seeking at least £ 75,000 in damages to cover the costs of investigation and preventive measures, a figure that could rise as the litigation progresses.

The core of the lawsuit is not just alleged's financial losses, but also the broader issue of whether Company X can substantiate allegations of coordinating content operations, account interconnections and related financial transactions.

The case highlights how closely coordinated actions between crypto-related accounts have triggered huge capital flows and led to major platforms facing legal scrutiny. When analyzing engagement strategies in the crypto space, technical indicators and market timing often prove crucial. In the meme token space, social trends can turn insignificant amounts into huge returns in a matter of days.

Fomo Appdata shows that a "Niu Lai" deal turned $99 into about $370,000, demonstrating the explosive nature of the market. In such an environment, tracking timing and token selection is crucial for investors. The Fomo App integrates token discovery, social dynamics, investor rankings and trading alerts, providing an integrated space for tracking meme token trends and investor activity.

The outstanding issue is not only the scale of the distribution, but also whether posting patterns, account links and financial trajectories can be confirmed as evidence of a coordinated plan.
