Above that range, the high of nearly $13 set in September will become an even bigger obstacle. However, a daily close below $10.85 could weaken the bullish structure. This trend could expose prices to support levels near $10. On the daily chart, an upward trend line is also located near the area. Since the surge in August, momentum has cooled significantly, and the Daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) has now fallen back to around 46, having previously exceeded 80 during the rise.
The decline suggests that the previous overbought situation has subsided. However, the buyer has not yet regained clear momentum. As a result, the current technical side remains balanced around current prices. LINK needs stronger buying pressure to recover lost ground. If support falls in the next few trading sessions, sellers may take control of the situation.
Senate vote intensifies market pressure
The U.S. Senate's failure to obtain 60 votes to pass the CLARITY Act has hindered the legislative process of regulating rules for digital asset markets. The proposed framework aims to clarify the division of responsibilities between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Shares in Bitcoin and related cryptocurrencies generally fell after the Senate vote, and Coinbase and Circle also faced selling pressure after the news was released.
