THORWallet has partnered with NEAR Intentions to bring confidential cross-chain swaps to users.

THORWallet has partnered with NEAR Intentions to introduce Confidential Cross-Chain Swaps services to its users. Users can now enable private swaps on supported interoperability routes via a simple switch on the swap preview interface.

Although private swaps cost slightly more than standard swaps, they enhance privacy protection by making it more difficult to track the link between sent and received funds on-chain. If users choose the "privacy" route of BTC to ETH swaps, the source transaction and target transaction will still be visible in their respective native chain browsers. However, these transactions typically appear as standard send or receive transactions and do not expose full swap execution details.

Unlike regular NEAR intentions swaps, which can be tracked through the public NEAR intentions browser and indexer, confidential swaps hide execution details from public view. This makes it more difficult for external observers to link source chain deposits to target chain withdrawals.
