Quant (QNT) rebounded from a low of about US$70, rose more than 300%, and hit a high price of US$373 over the weekend. Previously, the token had traded for approximately $270. Before the market accelerated, its price hovered around $70.

This round of gains follows The Clearing House's announcement that it has chosen Quant to provide technology for its On-Chain Money Initiative. The network is designed to clear and settle tokenized commercial bank deposits and connects to the Real-Time Payment System (RTP) and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Check Clearing System (CHIPS). The Clearing House operates a payment network with daily clearing and settlement amounts of more than $2 trillion.

Market unfolding process

QNT responded very quickly to the news, but the biggest increase came a few days later. On September 26, the token's price was close to $105.78, an increase of 65.7% in 30 days. By September 27, after a 57% increase in 24 hours, QNT was trading close to $172.70. Later in the day, other data showed its price ranged from $177 to $180. As of then, its seventh-day increase was about 185%. On September 28, the QNT price exceeded US$285, about 307% higher than the US$70 level.
