Canary Funds launches TRX ETF with pledge rewards, and TRX prices consolidate around $0.3390

Canary Funds launches a TRX ETF with pledge rewards, and the TRX price remains stable at around $0.3390.

Canary Funds, an asset management company known for its innovative investment tools, launched the Canary Staked TRX ETF (Canary Pledged TRX Exchange-Traded Fund). This new exchange-traded fund gives investors access to TRON's native token TRX, while also providing the opportunity to earn additional income through pledge rewards.

New ETF connects TRX with traditional finance

The ETF was launched on September 9 and aims to track the spot price of TRX. Investors can also benefit from the fund's participation in TRON's delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism. In this system, holders can pledge their tokens and contribute to network security.

By pledging a portion of the underlying assets, the ETF earns new TRX tokens, and the resulting gains will be reflected in the fund's net asset value (NAV). This approach provides participants with dual benefits: they are both directly exposed to TRX price fluctuations and can share the returns generated by pledges, all within a regulated investment structure.

The launch of this fund marks another progress in the integration of digital assets into mainstream financial products. The combination of TRX and ETF formats is expected to attract a wider range of institutional and individual investors who want to participate in cryptocurrency investments in a regulated manner.

Despite the significance of this listing, TRX's immediate price trend remains moderate. As of the most recent inspection, TRX was trading close to $0.3390, continuing a consolidation period that has lasted for several weeks.

Price Trend and Technical Outlook

Technical analysts note that TRX continues to trade in a rising parallel channel on the weekly chart. Well-known market analyst "Boss" pointed out that the asset recently rebounded from the lower edge of the channel, and buyers 'entry supported the price.

Currently, TRX is trying to regain the midline of the ascending channel. If this midline can be decisively broken, it may trigger a new round of bullish momentum and hopefully allow the tokens to move towards the upper boundary of the channel.

As long as prices remain within the channel structure, market sentiment remains cautiously optimistic. TRX showed significant resilience, climbing from a level of about $0.10 to a peak of nearly $0.40, and then stabilizing between $0.33 and $0.35.

Derivatives markets show potential caution

Analysis of TRX derivatives indicators shows a continued trend in negative funding rates. Traders holding short positions have been paying funding fees to long positions throughout the ETF promotion and price stabilization process, highlighting the widespread bearish tendencies among derivatives participants.

While there are occasional periods of positive funding rates, these surges are usually brief and not dominant compared to persistent negative rates.

Dictionary: Funding Rate

This is a mechanism on futures and perpetual contract exchanges that ensures that contract prices track spot prices. Negative funding rates mean that short positions are paid to long positions, indicating bearish sentiment among leveraged traders.

Despite widespread negative funding rates in the derivatives market, TRX has maintained its upward trend over the past few months. Analysts believe that strong spot buying and pledge activity helped offset the impact of bearish derivatives positions.

Even though most participants in the derivatives market are skeptical, TRX still shows signs of a steady recovery. Continued negative funding rates have not prevented tokens from holding on to recent gains.

If TRX successfully breaks through the channel center line in the next trading day, the combination of ETF capital inflows, pledge returns and supporting technical structures may lay the foundation for another round of rising prices.
