ETH BitMine's holdings exceed 6 million ETH units, and its weekly purchase scale slows down
BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) announced on Monday that its total ETH holdings have exceeded 6 million after purchasing 17,362 Ethereum (ETH) units in the week ended September 27. The purchase size is smaller than the previous week's 27,562 ETH pieces, bringing the company's total position to 6,001,302 ETH pieces. This amount accounts for 4.9% of the current total supply of 122.1 million ETH units, close to BitMine's 5% holding target.
Pledges up to 5.07 million ETH units
BitMine marks the price of ETH at US$2,698 per unit at Coinbase price. At this price, the total value of its cryptocurrency, cash, securities and equity investments is US$17.2 billion. The move puts BitMine in the second place among global crypto asset reserves, behind Strategy (MSTR).
BitMine Chairman Tom Lee said the company established the position in less than 15 months. He added that BitMine has been buying ETH every week since the launch of the treasury strategy on June 30, 2025. In late April this year, the total number of ETH held by the company exceeded the 5 million mark.
According to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), BitMine reported that 5,067,309 ETH units were in pledge, or approximately US$13.7 billion based on their marked value. Since August 9, the company has reported the same amount of pledge in weekly updates. During this period, although the total treasury volume continued to grow, the proportion of the pledged portion dropped to 84%.

本周，BitMine的现金及有价证券从上周的7.14亿美元下降至6.72亿美元。公司未说明现金减少的原因。除ETH和现金外，BitMine还持有213枚比特币（BTC）、价值1.8亿美元的Beast Industries股份以及价值1.15亿美元的Eightco Holdings (ORBS) 头寸。BitMine将Eightco描述为少数能让投资者间接接触OpenAI的上市股票之一。
