Sepolia：主网前的最终彩排
在此之前，升级日期仍处于待定状态，因为私有网络上的测试发现了最终性缺陷和定价错误。如今，该升级已被列入以太坊基金会的官方日历：计划在第 353024 个纪元、第 11296768 个插槽激活，即 2026 年 10 月 6 日 UTC 时间 13:53:36。测试网用于在主网部署前公开演练升级内容。
所有测试网运营商必须在截止日期前更新两个层面的软件。在执行层方面，基金会列出了 Besu 26.9.0、Geth 1.17.6 和 Reth 2.7.0；在共识层方面，则包括 Lodestar 1.49.0、Prysm 7.2.0 和 Teku 26.9.1。
Prysm 验证者还需审查其配置：默认 gas 限制将增加至 6000 万。ETH 持有者无需采取任何行动：此截止日期仅适用于 Sepolia 测试网。
Glamsterdam 带来的变化：ePBS、访问列表与 Gas 调整
本次升级的主要 novelty 是 ePBS（可扩展 PBS）。虽然区块提议者与构建者之间的分离已经存在，但此前是通过外部参与者实现的。EIP-7732 将其嵌入协议中：提议者发布构建者承诺，随后构建者揭示区块，由网络管理支付。其目标是减少对这类中介的依赖，并给予验证者更多时间来验证执行结果。
Glamsterdam 还引入了区块级访问列表（EIP-7928）：这些列表记录了使用的账户和存储槽，允许并行读取状态和验证交易。
此次更新还调整了 Gas 定价机制（EIP-8037 和 EIP-8038），以更好地反映创建和访问数据的成本。这一举措旨在提高网络的执行能力。因此，依赖固定 Gas 限制的智能合约需要进行测试，有时甚至需要修正。
Hoodi、主网与 Hegotá：后续时间表
The current focus turns to another test network-Hoodi. Developer notes mention October 27 as a time point, but no formal decision has been made. The main network still targets the fourth quarter of 2026, but there is no specific date. At the same time, the foundation has regulated the Open Vulnerability Bounty Program for Glamestead.
The current model remains unchanged: for major upgrades every year, the Ethereum community will continue to follow up on every step of progress. Looking to the future,"Hegotá" will be the next upgrade. Vitalik Buterin estimated on Sunday that this could be the last regular fork of the network, before moving towards recursive STARKs, formal verification and post-quantum cryptography.
After a one-week preparation period, large-scale testing will be carried out. If Sepolia completes the upgrade without a hitch, the fourth quarter window for the mainnet will become clearer; otherwise, the entire schedule will be delayed, adjusted from the Hegotá upgrade expected to be launched in 2027.
