Bitcoin price analysis: Daily chart

Daily chart shows that Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a significant rebound from the US$60,000 demand area, finally recovering the US$67,000 mark and breaking through the US$72,000 to US$74,000 area. Currently, asset prices are below the resistance zone of $80,000 to $82,000 and consolidating around $79,000.

The above resistance zone is the current direct obstacle. Since late August, the region has suppressed market movements many times, and the yellow trend lines connecting recent highs are also converging here. Therefore, achieving a decisive daily breakthrough above US$82,000 would constitute an important structural development and open the door to the US$96,000 resistance zone marked in the chart. On the downside side, US$72,000 to US$74,000 is the first important support area.

The kinetic energy indicator also showed certain signs of divergence. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) rose sharply during its initial breakout, but then reached a lower high, while prices remained near recent highs. This suggests that bullish momentum has cooled, increasing the possibility of further consolidation or correction before continued breakout attempts.

BTC/USDT 4-hour chart

Looking at the 4 hour chart, Bitcoin experienced a near-vertical rally from around $64,000 to $80,000, followed by a sideways to slightly rising structure. Currently, prices are oscillating between the lower boundary of $76,000 to $77,000 and the upper resistance of $80,000 to $82,000. The yellow trendline forms a broad uptrend structure, meaning the market is compressing while maintaining a sequence of higher lows and higher highs.

Recent rejections from the $82,000 area and subsequent pullbacks to $79,000 indicate that sellers remain active near the upper boundary. At the same time, as assets have not yet fallen below the downward trajectory of the uptrend, the bullish structure remains technically intact.

If the 4-hour K-line closes above US$82,000, it will help prices continue to the next major resistance level above US$90,000. On the contrary, a decisive break below the trend line at the lower part of the pattern ($76,000) will weaken the current bullish pattern and increase the probability of a pullback towards $72,000 to $74,000.

On-chain analysis

The adjusted SOPR (Spent Output Profit Ratio) chart provides a constructive signal for Bitcoin's recovery. The adjusted SOPR measures the profitability of spent coins while filtering out some noise generated by short-term transfers. A reading above 1 usually indicates that the coins spent have achieved a profit overall, while a reading below 1 indicates a loss.

The indicator has rebounded sharply from extremely depressed levels and is now back above 1, with the latest reading of around 1.01. This change is noteworthy because this improvement has accompanied Bitcoin's recovery towards $79,000. The chart also shows that aSOPR was below 1 for a long time in the first half of 2026, which is consistent with Bitcoin's weaker price performance. Its recent return to the 1 threshold suggests that the market's realizable profitability has returned and that recovery has been accompanied by healthier spending behavior.

However, this indicator is only slightly above 1 and does not show an extreme surge in earnings. This can be seen as a relatively constructive normalization rather than evidence of massive profit-taking. If aSOPR can stay above 1 and trend upward, while Bitcoin breaks through US$80,000 to US$82,000, on-chain data will strengthen the reason for bullish continuation, as the market will escape panic selling pressure and pressure to realize losses.
