BTC Bitcoin shows strong resilience after the CLARITY Act was blocked
After the Senate's CLARITY Act was frustrated, Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline, but then rebounded quickly, showing remarkable market resilience. After the vote ended on September 15, BTC prices once fell back to around $75,000, but successfully broke through the $81,000 mark on Friday, completely erasing the previous decline.
This trend sends an important signal to the crypto market. Although the industry faced unfavorable news for most of the week, Bitcoin's strong recovery reinforced the view that the market may have absorbed regulatory uncertainty ahead of schedule.
What does the CLARITY Act result mean for bitcoin and altcoins?
The U.S. Senate vote failed to reach the 60-member support votes needed to move the bill forward. However, experts pointed out that the result does not mean that Washington has completely changed its stance on the digital asset industry or is preparing to impose a new ban.
Alvin Kan, chief operating officer of Bitget Wallet, pointed out that the current situation shows that the fragmented nature of the U.S. regulatory system still exists. One of the core goals of the CLARITY Act is to clarify the boundaries of responsibilities between the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and establish federal-level regulatory rules for cryptocurrency markets and intermediaries.
