Wall Street's exposure to XRP is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, and here's the latest

Institutional exposure to XRP is becoming increasingly apparent as major financial companies report their positions in regulated XRP investment products. CryptoSensei recently highlighted this trend, citing disclosures from Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo and noting that XRP ETF trading volume has exceeded $100 million during the current trading session.

These data more clearly demonstrate how XRP-related investment products enter major financial portfolios. However, these disclosures also need to be interpreted with caution, as the 13F document shows reportable positions at the end of a particular quarter rather than long-term investment commitments.

Wall Street's exposure to $XRP is getting harder to ignore.@ GoldmanSachs reported holding approximately $86.5 million in XRP ETF exposure across five products, while Wells Fargo disclosed approximately $9.18 million in XRP ETF positions.

Goldman Sachs reported approximately $86.5 million in five XRP ETFs

Goldman Sachs reported approximately $86.5 million in XRP ETF exposure across five products, according to CryptoSensei. Reported holdings include: Bitwise XRP ETF of approximately $25.76 million, Franklin Templeton XRP ETF of approximately $25 million, and Canary Capital XRP ETF of approximately $19.49 million. The remaining exposure includes approximately $8.21 million for the 21Shares XRP ETF and approximately $7.65 million for the Grayscale XRP Trust. The total positions held by these five companies are approximately US$86.5 million.

CryptoSensei described the disclosure as an important institutional signal because regulated XRP products are now in the portfolios of major financial institutions. He also emphasized that the document did not mean that Goldman Sachs intended to hold the position indefinitely.

In the accompanying video, CryptoSensei explains that institutions can adjust their positions based on market conditions. He also mentioned Wells Fargo, which reported approximately $9.18 million in XRP ETF exposure.

More financial institutions report XRP exposure

CryptoSensei also highlighted disclosures by other institutions. His video mentioned positions involving financial institutions such as Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, Banque Italiano de Sao Paulo, Morgan Stanley, and Bank of Montreal. He specifically pointed out that Wells Fargo holds approximately $9.18 million in XRP ETFs, while JPMorgan Chase reported a smaller position of just 181 shares. He also mentioned the reported positions of USA Bank in the Grayscale XRP Trust and the positions of other asset managers in multiple XRP ETFs. The core point of the post is that regulated XRP investment products provide banks, asset managers and other institutions with a way to gain exposure without directly holding XRP.

XRP ETF trading volume exceeds US$100 million

CryptoSensei also highlighted the trading activity of XRP ETFs. He said trading volume rose to US$82 million from about US$54 million at the beginning of the session, and then exceeded US$107 million later in the day. He linked this growth to the growing number of institutional participants in regulated XRP products. At the same time, these disclosures do not prove that every institution holds long-term bullish positions. For the XRP market, reported positions and trading activity demonstrate that regulated investment products are gaining attention from major financial institutions. Whether this exposure will expand further will depend on future institutional demand, market conditions and the continued development of regulated digital asset products.
