FollowingEighteen state attorneys general sent a letter to the Senate Banking Committee calling for opposition to the Clarity Act.
Just one day before the bill faces a procedural vote on whether it can be submitted to the full Senate for a vote, attorneys general from eighteen states in the United States jointly sent a letter to the Senate Banking Committee urging senators to veto the Clarity Act under this form.
This letter, sent on September 14, was written by Committee Chairman Tim Scott (Tim Scott) and senior member Elizabeth Warren Received by Elizabeth Warren and co-signed by the Attorneys General of the following jurisdictions: New York, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, and the District of Colombia.
