Coinbase支持的倡导组织作出回应
由加密货币交易所Coinbase支持的倡导组织“Stand With Crypto”宣布，将把此次参议院投票记录纳入其公开评分卡中，以衡量立法者对数字资产政策的支持程度。该组织代表了约6700万拥有加密货币的美国公民，以及声称遍布全国的300万名基层倡导者。
“Stand With Crypto”执行主任梅森·莱瑙（Mason Lynaugh）表示，此次投票是立法者澄清数字资产规则的一次错失良机。他强调了美国加密货币持有者在寻求监管确定性时所面临的漫长等待。

立法停滞与政治分歧
The Clarity Act aims to assign regulatory responsibilities for digital assets to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). Proponents believe the measure will provide long-awaited guidance to businesses and investors to address the vague and often controversial rule issues that many cryptocurrency companies currently face.
The focus that led to differences before the procedural vote focused on ethics, software developer protection and regulatory oversight of cryptographic platforms. Although Republicans introduced a revised version of the bill over the weekend, Democrats introduced a counterproposal shortly before the Senate vote, dividing the two camps.
Lenau emphasized that the Clarity Act's failure to advance will be a core issue that will continue to focus on members and supporters of the organization.
Banking industry opposition
On the eve of the vote, several banking associations called for stricter limits on stablecoin rewards. They believe that rewards linked to stablecoins could be similar to interest payments, diverting deposits away from traditional banks and potentially weakening banks 'ability to lend.
A stablecoin is a digital token designed to maintain value stability by pegging it to assets such as the US dollar. As efforts advance to regulate digital payments and protect consumers, stablecoins 'role in the broader crypto debate has become increasingly prominent.
