Core blockchain TVL performed positively today

The total value of Core DAO lock-in climbed within the day

The chain activity of Core DAO has been significantly active recently. The total lock-in value (TVL) of the Core blockchain has increased by nearly 10% in the past 24 hours, with DeFi data provider DefiLlama recording a 7.37% increase driven by trading activity on multiple protocols within the ecosystem.

According to Spark Money's BTCfi research report, Core DAO is currently the largest Bitcoin sidechain calculated by TVL, with more than US$314 million in locked assets and more than 5500 BTC pledged, accounting for approximately 26% of all Bitcoin sidechain TVLs. Today's rise further consolidates this momentum.

b14g leads the increase

The best person behind today's increase is the b14g network. The re-pledge platform has recorded more than US$4 million in TVL, becoming the current dominant agreement in the Core ecosystem. According to DappRadar data, b14g is a Bitcoin re-pledge protocol that adopts a "merged re-pledge" mechanism, allowing users to combine pledged BTC with CORE tokens to re-pledge in a bitcoin-aligned network. The forfeiture mechanism only applies to CORE tokens, ensuring that BTC is protected throughout the process.

The platform's "merged market" eliminates capital barriers by connecting BTC holders and CORE holders, allowing both parties to obtain the highest level of dual pledge income without holding two assets at the same time.

Core DAO's own developer ecosystem report pointed out that b14g is one of the outstanding projects among BTCfi hackathons and has been successfully launched on the main network.

Other header protocols

Immediately after b14g, the second and third TVL rankings on the Core blockchain are SatoshiCore Swap and Colend protocols respectively. This constitutes an ecological pattern in which lending and re-pledge businesses occupy the mainstream of locked value.
