Solana's Alpenglow upgrade landed on Devnet, achieving 150 milliseconds final confirmation

Votor

Anza's software schedule initially allows activation of main-network functions to resume on September 28, but the schedule does not specify this day as Alpenglow's activation date, and the foundation status page still lists upgrades on the main-network as inactive.

The foundation describes Votor as the first phase of Alpenglow. In a subsequent phase, Rotor plans to replace the system used to spread blocks across the network. Current promotion mainly involves voting and final changes, while the target of about 150 milliseconds comes from testing and simulation rather than clearing transactions under real-time market conditions.
