Following海丝特·皮尔斯将于10月2日离开美国证券交易委员会
海丝特·皮尔斯（Hester Peirce）自2018年1月起担任美国证券交易委员会（SEC）委员，她将于10月2日正式离职。作为被称为“加密妈妈”的知名人物，皮尔斯提交了辞职信至白宫，并计划于2026年11月加入里根大学法学院（Regent University School of Law），担任副教授。她在SEC的加密政策工作中发挥了重要作用。

在SEC任职近九年后，皮尔斯宣布辞职。她发布了一张辞职信的照片，并配文“倒计时7天”。在信中，皮尔斯表示，她在SEC的服务是她职业生涯中最高的荣誉。她还探讨了个人选择以及为美国证券市场设定合理的监管边界的重要性。皮尔斯对主席保罗·阿特金斯（Paul Atkins）和委员马克·尤耶达（Mark Uyeda）继续推进该机构的工作充满信心。

加密政策塑造了皮尔斯在SEC的任期
Pierce led the Crypto Task Force established by the SEC in January 2025. The working group is committed to clarifying federal securities laws related to cryptocurrency assets and related activities. Her work includes issuing policy statements and guidance documents on mining, pledges, memecoins, and classification of crypto assets.
In August this year, the SEC also proposed the Regulation of Crypto Assets. Recently, Pierce participated in the SEC's innovation exemption program for tokenized securities. The September 17 order created time-limited exemptions for certain on-chain stock trading activities.
Reagan University looks forward to Pierce joining in November
Reagan University announced in May this year that Pierce will join its law school as an associate professor, starting in November 2026. The school said her background covers financial regulation, securities law, public policy and digital assets.
Prior to joining the SEC, Pierce worked in multiple federal securities-related positions. At the same time, in Pierce's final weeks in office, the SEC continued to issue crypto-related guidance documents. On September 23, she delivered a speech at the SIFMA Digital Assets Conference.
In addition, the SEC recently released materials on the classification of crypto assets and related regulatory issues, covering issues such as token marketing, pledged receipt tokens, and promoter considerations.
