Stellar 网络的 Bell 升级（即 Protocol 30）已于周二在测试网上线，验证者计划于协调世界时（UTC）11月23日17:00对主网升级进行投票。

Stellar 开发基金会表示，Bell 升级并未使 Stellar 网络具备后量子安全性，因为网络交易签名仍使用 Ed25519 算法。

Stellar Bell 升级改变了什么

Stellar 开发基金会在介绍该升级的博客文章中指出，Bell 包含三项主要变更。

第一项是 CAP-84，新增了以字母 W 开头的多路复用合约地址格式，为智能合约地址附加了64位 ID。基金会表示，在此之前，持有客户余额的智能账户无法区分 incoming payments（传入付款），因此每个客户需要一个独立的合约。

第二项是 CAP-87，允许智能合约验证 ML-DSA 签名。ML-DSA 是美国国家标准与技术研究院（NIST）于2024年确定的后量子标准之一。基金会称这是 Stellar “量子准备计划”中的首个链上组件。

第三项是 CAP-88，将账本关闭时间记录从整秒改为毫秒。基金会表示，这是在9月份 Protocol 28 将主网关闭时间从约5.7秒缩短至5秒之后，实现更快账本的协议层前提条件。

Bell 升级未涉及的内容

基金会强调，Bell 升级并未使 Stellar 具备后量子安全性。网络交易签名仍保持为 Ed25519，经典账户的原生后量子签名器将在未来的协议变更中推出。智能合约账户可选择加入量子安全授权，以防范未来的量子计算攻击。

此外，Bell 本身并不会直接使 Stellar 产生区块的速度超过每5秒一次。基金会在投票前提醒开发者升级其 SDK，并更新任何自定义的账本解码器，因为 Bell 更改了账本头部的格式。

测试网升级投票定于周二 UTC 时间17:00进行。基金会表示，如果验证者在11月23日批准，该升级将在主网生效。
