SEC对Canton Coin作出新声明：视为数字商品，不推荐实施制裁

在美国证券交易委员会（SEC）主席保罗·阿特金斯（Paul Atkins）领导下，该机构对加密货币采取了更为温和的立场。近日，SEC就一款名为Canton Coin（CC）的替代币发布了最新声明。

SEC在公告中指出，其将Canton Coin认定为“数字商品”（digital commodity），并表示若满足特定条件，SEC不会建议对该代币的发行实施制裁。

SEC确认CC非证券，价格受此影响

这一声明进一步确认了Canton Coin不属于证券范畴，该认定也对CC的市场价格产生了积极影响。

SEC机构金融部发布评估报告

SEC机构金融部在官方声明中表示，Canton Coin的价值源于自动化网络交易以及市场供需关系。声明强调，CC代币的价值并不基于利润预期，且不存在中央控制机构。

满足条件即不推荐制裁

SEC明确表示，如果代币符合其提出的条件，SEC将不建议对超级验证者（Super Validators）、验证者（Validators）及应用提供商的代币发行行为实施制裁。

不过，SEC同时指出，这并不意味着对“该代币是否构成证券”作出最终且具有法律约束力的裁定。SEC特别强调，不同情境可能导致不同的监管评估结果。

Canton Network生态持续发展

除了监管层面的动态，Canton Network生态系统内部也取得重要进展。资产管理公司21Shares此前已推出Canton Coin相关ETF产品。此外，Canton Network开发商Digital Asset于今年6月完成了一轮由a16z crypto领投的融资，融资金额达3.55亿美元，用于进一步扩展生态系统。
