Crypto asset management company Bitwise announced that it will close its Dogecoin exchange-traded fund (ETF), which has been less than a year since its launch. As of September 8, the fund's net assets were approximately $722,000.
Liquidation Arrangements and Timetable
Bitwise announced that it will liquidate BWOW, and October 14 is expected to be the fund's last trading day in NYSE Arca. The remaining shareholders will receive cash equivalent to the net value of their shares on October 21, and the payment is expected to be paid on October 22, 2026.
