WIF The "Cats in a Dogs World" token ($MEW) rose 20% in 24 hours, leading the Solana Eco-meme coin to rebound.
In the past 24 hours, the price of "Cats in a Dogs World"($MEW) has increased by 20%, with a cumulative increase of 13% in the past seven days. This performance was due to the market's renewed enthusiasm for investment in meme coins based on the Solana chain.
Cat-themed to fight against "dog-themed" tokens
$MEW was officially launched on the Solana blockchain in March 2024, aiming to become a deliberate replacement for the "dog-themed" tokens that have long dominated the meme coin market. Rather than following the traditional path of Dogecoin or Shiba Inu, the project builds its brand identity around the narrative of "cats" and designs a token economics model to match it.
At the start of the project, the team destroyed 90% of the initial liquidity pool and airdropped the remaining 10% to existing Solana community members, including BONK and WIF holders and Solana Mobile mobile phone users. Proponents believe that this structure with no team reserve shares and fair start enhances the decentralized nature of the project.
Despite the recent rebound, the price of $MEW is still down about 95% from its all-time high of $0.01288. According to CoinGecko data, its current market value is approximately $49.8 million. As of mid-September 2026, MEW's trading price range is roughly between US$0.0003 and US$0.0006, and its market value is between US$30 million and US$55 million, reflecting that the token is still highly compressed compared to its peak period.
Solana meme coin sector is getting more popular
