Zcash broke through the thousand-dollar mark, and the giant whale's two-year low position made a profit of more than 20 times cashed out
After the Zcash (ZEC) price broke through the US$1,000 mark, a giant whale investor with a low holding cost and a position for more than two years made a remarkable large transfer. According to online data, the giant whale transferred 22,840 ZECs with an average holding cost of US$48.44 to Binance, with a transaction amount of approximately US$23.11 million.
It is estimated that the transaction brought the investor a profit of approximately US$21.96 million, increasing its return on investment by approximately 20 times. It is reported that the giant whale gradually accumulated ZEC through Binance between 2021 and 2024, when the average buying price was US$48.44.
As the ZEC price successfully exceeded the US$1,000 milestone today, the market began to show signs of profit-taking by the giant whale. Data shows that the 22,840 ZECs were first sent to a private address, then moved to a new address with privacy features removed, and finally transferred to the Binance Exchange.
Cryptocurrency analyst il Capo said he expects a correction in ZEC prices after the rise, and that such a correction could ripple through the broader cryptocurrency market.
