September 10 Crypto Market Summary

On September 10, the crypto market fell overall. Bitcoin prices fell to around $78,000, while NEAR Protocol (NEAR) performed the most prominently among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, becoming the asset with the largest increase on the day.

According to CoinMarketCap data, as of 10 a.m. Korean time on September 10, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.95% from the previous day to close at US$78,015.26; Ethereum (ETH) fell 1.29% to close at US$2,459.49. This decline reflects the general pressure on most mainstream cryptocurrencies.

In other major currencies, XRP fell 2.06% to US$1.38 and Solana (SOL) fell 2.47% to US$100.92. Tron (TRX) rose slightly 0.02% to $0.3392, becoming one of the few mainstream cryptocurrencies to record gains. Dogecoin (DOGE) fell sharply 5.01% to $0.08551, and Avalanche (AVAX) fell 2.68% to $7.74. In addition, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) slipped slightly 0.27% to $0.05607, while Worldcoin (WLD) plunged 11.38% to $0.4046.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation, NEAR Protocol (NEAR) recorded the largest 24-hour gain, reaching 6.39%. On the contrary, Pons (PONS) fell the most, falling 19.51% in a single day.

Among other altcoin markets, QUAI edged up 0.01% to US$0.01113, and ALEO rose 0.29% to US$0.01726.

CoinMarketCap has also added five newly listed cryptocurrencies in the past 24 hours: hotdog (HOTDOG), Memory cow Moo (MOO), iCoin (ICOIN), Crumbs (CRUMBS) and AEGIS X (AGX).
