On September 14, Bitcoin experienced a 1.24%"kimchi premium" in South Korea
As of 12:00 am Korean Standard Time on September 14, the trading price of Bitcoin (BTC) on the South Korean Upbit Exchange was 10.5 million won, down 0.08% from the previous day. On the global exchange Binance, the price of BTC is 10.371 million won, showing a price difference of 1.29 million won, and the "kimchi premium" reaches 1.24%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, also recorded a "kimchi premium" of 1.32%. Other major altcoins also trade at a premium, with Solana (SOL) at a premium of 1.25%, XRP at 1.19%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 1.37%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.16%. Currently, most mainstream altcoins present a "kimchi premium" in the range of 1.1% to 1.3%.
