Investor Jason Calacanis called memin a "huge scam" and has explicitly denied participating in any cryptocurrency project built around such tokens. He warned followers that he had never sent private messages instructing anyone to buy, sell or trade cryptocurrencies on his behalf.
Karakanis also questioned Bitcoin's practicality in daily life and doubts the durability of a sustained rebound, although he occasionally celebrates its short-term price gains.
