Strategy shares rose on October 5 after the company disclosed another Bitcoin purchase transaction. Strategy purchased 334 bitcoins, increasing its holdings to a record 848,000 bitcoins.
The company also reported estimated third-quarter digital asset revenue of $20.91 billion. In addition, it repurchased approximately $176.3 million of STRC preferred stock during both reporting periods.
MSTR shares remained volatile during Monday trading. Although bitcoin prices are still near recent highs, MSTR shares are above Friday's close of $160.01.
Strategy's share price rose after purchasing 334 bitcoins.
On October 5, Strategy's share price closed at US$163.91, up 2.44% in a single day. The stock opened at about $164.20 before falling to around $161.50 during the session.
However, buying appeared at a low level, pushing MSTR shares to rebound strongly. The rally sent shares hitting intraday highs near $164.80.
