RLUSD Ripple participated in the OKX financing round with a valuation of US$25 billion
Ripple joined forces with Circle, Qube Research and Technologies and SC Ventures to participate in the new round of OKX investment. The transaction values OKX to US$25 billion before financing.
OKX selected these strategic investors to support the expansion of its business from purely cryptocurrency trading into stablecoins, payment services, institutional markets and the broader financial infrastructure. Ripple's investment not only consolidates the existing integration results of RLUSD stablecoins on the OKX platform, but also continues its previous support for digital capital market infrastructure companies ZILO and Licuido.
Strategic investment rather than pure financing
Ripple completed its investment in OKX with Circle, Qube Research and Technologies and SC Ventures, a venture capital arm of Standard Chartered Bank. According to OKX's announcement on Tuesday, the exchange's pre-investment valuation is $25 billion. However, OKX did not disclose the specific financing amount or details of each participant's contribution.
This round of financing is a continuation of the financing cycle previously led by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange. In March this year, ICE invested about US$200 million, when OKX was also valued at US$25 billion. Xu Mingxing, founder and CEO of OKX, said that the company is looking for strategic partners who can solve development bottlenecks, not just financial investors.

深化稳定币与机构市场联系

Ripple 稳定币高级副总裁 Jack McDonald 将此次投资与合作联系起来，认为大型平台如 OKX 在稳定币日益重要的金融基础设施角色中扮演着关键参与者。McDonald 表示，双方将在稳定币、支付及机构市场领域展开进一步合作。
