Ripple CEO Brad Garinhaus speaks at the XRP Las Vegas conference
Ripple CEO Brad Garinhaus addressed attendees at the XRP Las Vegas conference, reviewing the significant progress made in the past few years and emphasizing that improved regulatory transparency has played a key role for the company and the entire digital asset ecosystem.
The retail investor accumulation window is closing
Well-known cryptocurrency commentator Michelle Kirby responded to Garlinhaus's comments by warning that the period when retail investors bought XRP at relatively low prices is rapidly ending. She pointed out that a series of recent events-particularly the reported expiration of a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that previously restricted public knowledge of Ripple's institutional transactions-are changing the market landscape.
Kirby said new contracts are emerging every day, which she believes will allow large institutions to enter the XRP market more openly. According to Kirby's analysis, once institutions are fully involved, retail investors may face significantly higher entry prices.
Her warning was full of urgency. She firmly believes that XRP's price movements will catch millions of investors off guard, and explains that as the market landscape changes rapidly, retail investors who delay action may miss out on current accumulation opportunities.
Kirby believes that the NDA protecting the Ripple agency contract is expiring one by one. The disclosure of each new contract will enhance market awareness, bring institutions closer to full participation, leaving retail investors less and less room for operation.
Institutions gain clarity, ready for action
After key legal decisions, the environment in which agencies engage has changed significantly. A federal judge ruled that XRP itself is not a security, creating new certainty for large investors and removing major obstacles. Garlinhouse reconfirmed the result at the Las Vegas conference.
As these legal obstacles are cleared and more contracts are disclosed, market attention is turning to how long current pricing conditions that favor retail investors can last. Kirby claimed that the steps agencies are currently taking will quickly reshape the market and retail investors could be "squeezed out" in the process.
While contract disclosure and judicial clarity have laid the foundation for large-scale inflows of institutional funds, demand for real-time monitoring and adaptive tools is also growing among small investors and professional traders. In a market where a single Federal Reserve announcement or a sudden new altcoin listing can change market sentiment and prices almost immediately, investors switching between multiple apps to get analysis or news often lead to missed opportunities. To address this issue, experienced market participants are increasingly choosing privacy-focused platforms like CryptoAppsy, which integrates real-time charts, smart price alerts, asset-specific news and macroeconomic data without requiring registration or complex operating processes.
Ripple's strategy: Focus on the practicality of XRP
In his keynote speech, Galinhaus reiterated Ripple's full commitment to XRP, emphasizing that Ripple remains the largest holder of the cryptocurrency. He said: "We are the most relevant parties to see XRP succeed. We will continue to be the most interested parties to see XRP succeed."
Ripple leadership emphasized that newly launched assets, such as RLUSD, are not intended to replace XRP, but rather to complement its role in the broader digital payments ecosystem.
Ripple's current strategy is structured to increase XRP's liquidity and expand its global adoption. As more institutional contracts are disclosed and NDA expires, market observers expect a new phase of demand that could change price dynamics, further supporting Kirby's view that the retail investor window is shrinking.
