Despite the overall positive trend, analysts stressed that the decisive signal for a breakthrough in resistance has not yet been confirmed. For confirmation, traders are watching to see if Ethereum can break through and stand firm above $2705, thereby maintaining a higher price zone.
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is currently at 64.47, with the signal line at 62.05. Both are below the typical overbought threshold of 70, indicating there is still room for further gains. However, if the RSI falls sharply, it may imply a weakening of momentum.
Fibonacci Expansion and Price Pattern
Another analyst, BATMAN, emphasized the importance of the Fibonacci Expansion Ratio of 1.618 to the current price formation of Ethereum. The region is close to previous resistance levels, increasing market attention to the region.
Ethereum's current priority is to establish US$2700 as a new support level. If this goal can be achieved, the market focus will shift to the US$2,720 - 2,725 range. However, if it cannot remain above US$2635, ETH may face further downside risks.
