Polkadot prices fall as supply cuts fail to boost DOT demand

Polkadot prices are trading around US$0.84 after falling below the 50-day exponential moving average. DOT now has a rigid supply cap of 2.1 billion units. More than 900 million DOTs have entered the pledge status.

Despite recent Internet developments, Boca prices are still under pressure. DOT hit about $1.02 on August 22, before falling back to around $0.84. The decline comes as Boca has cut circulation and introduced a rigid supply cap of 2.1 billion DOT units. In addition, the network has launched Agile Coretime, and JAM remains part of its long-term roadmap. These changes have strengthened Boca's basic development activities, but prices have not followed suit.

Internet fundamentals are constantly changing, boka prices lag behind

Cryptocurrency analyst Luckysaid pointed out that DOT has become one of the major altcoins that have performed weaker in the recent rebound. Several mainstream altcoins have risen by more than 20% in a few days, but DOT has struggled to attract similar demand.

Despite major changes in token supply, Boca prices still face this weakness. Boca now has a maximum supply of 2.1 billion DOT units, while the network has also reduced circulation during 2026. Agile Coretime is another web development that provides projects with a flexible way to access Boca block space. JAM remains part of the network's long-term technology plan.

According to the data provided, more than 900 million DOTs have entered the pledge state, with an average pledge yield of approximately 2.8%, bringing the network closer to the 1 billion DOT milestone.

After the progress of the ETF, the Boka price test support level

The Boka price is currently trading below the 50-day index moving average, and US$0.71 is the next major support level in the current trend. If this moving average can be recovered, a higher level will come back into view.

Boca also gained new market exposure through the 21Shares Boca Pledged ETF. The American Depository, Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) listed the product under the code TDOT on August 27, after the fund had been renamed.

Boca Pledge ETF Obtained DTCC Key Listing

21Shares 'Boca Pledge ETF has been listed on DTCC under the code TDOT. The fund was renamed from "21Shares Poca ETF" to "21Shares Poca Pledged ETF" on August 27. The fund holds DOT and pledges between 40% and 95% of its assets through online validators. It announced a pledge yield of approximately 2.04%, and a management fee of 0.30%.

Boca prices also face complex ecological signals. Kraken plans to remove Hydration's HDX on September 11, and Hydration has questioned the decision.

Currently, DOT combines lower issuance, fixed supply caps, growing pledges and new ETF infrastructure, but price momentum is weak. Boca prices must regain buying demand to translate these developments into stronger market performance.
