Grayscale Research: Zcash may become a strong challenger to Bitcoin
The latest research report from Grayscale pointed out that as artificial intelligence-driven financial surveillance has caused increasing concerns, the value of privacy-protected cryptocurrencies is constantly highlighted, and Zcash (ZEC) is expected to become an important force in the digital asset field challenging Bitcoin's dominance.
Zach Pandl, head of gray scale research at, said in the report that Zcash has a "latecomer advantage" that could weaken Bitcoin's deep-rooted network effects, which early alternative currencies such as Litecoin (LTC) failed to achieve. Pander's core argument lies in ZEC's ability to block transaction data-a feature that gray believes will become increasingly important as artificial intelligence systems increase their ability to analyze financial activities on a large scale. Zcash uses zero-knowledge proof cryptography technology to keep on-chain transactions secret from external observers while still being verified through the Internet.
