InterLink Ecosystem launches On-Chain Identity Service INS, with strong early data performance
The InterLink Ecosystem recently released a set of eye-catching preliminary data showing that its newly launched InterLink Name Service (INS) has registered 4,123 active.itl domain names in just a few days after its launch. This data shows that early demand for on-chain digital identities within the network was extremely strong.
Early indicators: Strong adoption rate
According to the agreement announcement, INS has attracted 1,177 independent domain name owners since its launch and achieved a total transaction volume of $4,751.5 ITL. Among them, in the past 24 hours alone, 905.5 $ITL has been traded. This shows that as primary market registration continues, the activity of the secondary market is rapidly increasing.
INS aims to simplify the way users express their identities in the InterLink ecosystem, replacing complex wallet addresses with easy-to-humans.itl usernames. The service aims to provide a common identity layer for users, businesses, organizations and AI agents to enable seamless interactions between payments, governance, decentralized applications (DApps) and digital commerce.
Positioning INS in the broader InterLink vision
InterLink is built on the "Proof of Humanity" consensus mechanism that eliminates robots, fake accounts and automated manipulation through facial vividness detection technology, ensuring that online rewards and ecological benefits flow directly to real individual participants. The INS layer is built on top of this identity infrastructure, providing authenticated users with portable on-chain identifiers tied to their real-world verification status.
InterLink adopts a dual-token economy model to distinguish internal utility from broader liquidity needs. The main token, ITLG, is distributed directly to verified users through authentication, referral rewards and network participation. In addition, the subordinated token $ITL is used to promote external transactions, institutional participation and exchange liquidity.
The quick update of the.itl domain name adds specific application scenarios to the token economy. From the first day, domain name registrations and secondary transactions have generated $ITL activity on the chain. According to the project party, the release of INS is another step in building an infrastructure connecting blockchain and the real economy. This is not just about replacing complex wallet addresses, but about creating a secure, extensible, and interoperable Identity Layer to support next-generation Web3 applications and future users.
Whether early registration data can be translated into sustained network engagement will be a key indicator for testing the agreement. Domain name registrations tend to surge early in launches and then flatten out, so analysts and observers will be watching closely to see whether the number of independent owners and daily $ITL transaction volume continue to grow in the coming weeks.
