Solana entered the next bull market on a stronger basis, but also accompanied by more speculative activity.
SOL prices fell 5.14% to close at $99.12 after encountering resistance in the $106-$107 region and falling below the key $100 level. Macro pressures ahead of the release of consumer price index (CPI) data have exacerbated selling sentiment. However, the network has grown far beyond the previous cycle: the number of real-world asset (RWA) holders has surged from less than 10,000 at the beginning of 2025 to 510,242; the number of SPL tokens minted in a single day exceeds 263,000, well above the peak of 40,000 - 50,000 per day during December 2024.
With Bitwise's purchases and the inflow of funds from the Solana ETF in the United States, institutional demand also began to emerge. Given the upcoming upgrade and faster trading infrastructure at Alpenglow, we consulted ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini about their forecasts for Solana prices at the peak of the next bull market.
ChatGPT predicts SOL prices at the peak of the bull market
ChatGPT gives the broadest forecast range: Solana prices are $250-$350 in a bear market scenario;$450-$600 in a benchmark scenario; and $700-$1,000+ in an aggressive bull market scenario. Its median target price is based on several quantifiable development indicators: RWA holders have reached 510,242, Bitwise has purchased SOL worth more than US$107 million in 20 trading days, and the U.S. Solana ETF recorded a net inflow of US$11.73 million on September 9. This allowed SOL to gain more institutional demand than it did for most of the previous cycle.

Network upgrades are also part of ChatGPT's higher valuation case. Transaction V1 increases the maximum serialized transaction size from 1,232 bytes to 4,096 bytes, while Alpenglow is scheduled to launch in October 2026 with a final confirmation time of approximately 150 milliseconds. Governance changes may also reduce the new SOL issuance rate, with the SGP-0002 proposal increasing the annual deflation rate from 15% to 30%. Based on these factors, ChatGPT believes that $450-$600 is the most reasonable middle range, while $700-$1,000+ requires a stronger crypto market cycle.
Claude predicts a more conservative Solana price
Claude's view is more cautious, with its core SOL price estimated at around $340-$360, with a full peak range of $280-$420. Its reasoning starts with Solana's previous historical high of about $260 and assumes that if fundamentals continue to improve, the peak of this cycle may be about 30%-70% higher than before.

Claude also attaches great importance to the adoption of RWA, which has increased from less than 10,000 holders in January 2025 to more than 510,000 in September 2026. Alpenglow is the main variable in the Claude model. If it is successfully deployed and a final confirmation of approximately 150 milliseconds is achieved around October, SOL prices may move towards the upper end of the range. If there are delays or technical issues,$280-$320 is more reasonable. Claude also believes $500+ is possible, but it requires widespread market fanaticism or Solana taking a larger share of institutional activity.
Gemini predicts highest benchmark scenario Solana prices
Gemini's benchmark scenario is the most optimistic, predicting SOL prices at peak of $550-$720 and $850-$1,100+ under bull scenario. Its model combines 510,242 RWA holders, Bitwise's more than $918 million SOL holdings, Solana's larger trading capacity, and the planned Alpenglow final confirmation time of 150 milliseconds. Gemini also considers the faster deflation path brought about by SGP-0002.

The key difference lies in the valuation of these developments. Gemini estimates that Solana's market capitalization could reach US$325 billion to US$425 billion under the benchmark scenario, compared with approximately US$110 billion at the peak of the previous cycle. This requires a significantly expanded valuation, so its $550-$720 target contains more assumptions than Claude's $280-$420 range.
Can Solana break $500 before the bull market ends?
It is possible, but the data does not guarantee that $500 is an inevitable result. At $500, Solana will be worth about five times the current price of $99.12, and its market value needs to rise significantly from its current level. Reasons to support $500 include: 510,242 RWA holders, institutional SOL purchases, ETF inflows, greater trading capacity and Alpenglow's potential 150-millisecond final confirmation capabilities.
Opposing arguments are equally important. The SOL price has fallen below $100 after failing to break through $106-$107, indicating that macro conditions may still dominate the fundamentals of the token. A record 263,000 SPL coins were generated in one day also suggests that speculative activity is very active. If liquidity remains weak, Alpenglow is extended, ETF demand fades, or Bitcoin cannot sustain the main bull cycle, SOL may remain below $500. Therefore,$500 is possible, but should be regarded as a mid-to-high or bullish scenario rather than a default target.
Our Solana price outlook for the next bull market
Our three SOL price paths balance AI forecasts with today's available data:
- Bear market path: $250-$350. This range becomes possible if macro conditions remain highly restrictive, institutional capital inflows weaken and Alpenglow fails to provide expected performance. This would still put SOL well above $99.12, but below ChatGPT and Gemini's high targets.
- Baseline path: $400-$600. If RWA adoption continues to grow from the current 510,242 holders, institutional demand remains positive, Solana upgrades are delivered as planned, and the broader crypto market enters another round of strong expansion, this is the most balanced range. The 500 level falls within this range.
- Bull Market Path: $700-$1,000+。This requires a strong market dominated by Bitcoin, continued ETF demand, rapid RWA growth, and successful Alpenglow deployments. The cap part requires Solana to obtain a valuation much larger than its peak in the previous cycle, making it a risky but possible outcome.
The biggest difference between the three AI models is the value weights they place on Solana institutional adoption rates and upcoming infrastructure upgrades. Claude is the most conservative, with a range of $280-$420;ChatGPT puts its benchmark scenario at $450-$600; and Gemini expects it to be $550-$720. For SOL prices, the $400-$600 area provides the most balanced middle ground given current data, but the path to that goal will largely depend on macro liquidity and Solana's ability to translate its growing network activity into continued demand for SOL.
