根据 XRPL 的治理框架，一旦超过所需的验证器批准门槛，将自动启动为期 14 天的强制等待期。如果在此期间内这种高度共识保持稳定，软件升级将于 2026 年 9 月 29 日 UTC 时间 14:06 自动生效。
此次即将到来的升级是社区第二次尝试向账本引入批量交易功能。此前，在审计公司 Cantina AI 发现该功能的签名验证组件存在漏洞后，开发者曾于 2024 年 2 月暂停了首批部署。若被利用，该漏洞可能对用户资金构成潜在风险。

The core highlight of the Batch Trading (XLS-56) feature is its ability to combine up to 8 different transactions (which may involve different users) into a single executable package and execute them within a single ledger closure cycle. The key is that it follows the so-called "all or nothing" principle: If any transaction in the bundle fails or suffers a price slip, the entire group will be rolled back, ensuring the integrity of the transaction and minimizing some status issues for users.
Bulk transactions give the network the ability to handle complex multi-party operations that previously could only be achieved through layered and expensive smart contracts, while also reducing the risk of stuck transactions or incomplete payments.
With the introduction of XLS-56, XRP Ledger will support simplified institutional settlement processes, such as simultaneous transfer and payment of tokenized assets based on the Delivery versus Payment (DvP) model. This feature also enables the direct exchange of digital assets, including NFT-to-NFT exchanges, without the need for XRP or other tokens as an intermediate conversion step.
Application developers will also benefit by embedding platform fees directly into user transactions, ensuring simplicity of operation without complex processes.
Traders trading on a decentralized exchange (DEX) built based on XRPL will also be able to submit bundled trading orders. If a single order is successfully executed, other orders in the batch will be cancelled, which helps traders better manage risk and avoid unexpected losses.
