Kakao确立2030年营收目标：KakaoAI超6万亿韩元，独立投资业务成立KakaoX

Kakao已为其计划中的KakaoAI业务设定了2030年超过6万亿韩元（约合43亿美元）的营收目标。与此同时，公司正筹备将人工智能代理直接整合至KakaoTalk中，并将投资业务分离为独立的KakaoX实体。

KakaoAI业务规划与愿景

据韩联社9月16日报道，Kakao集团投资策略室室长金道英在一次与少数股东的在线会议上披露了这一目标。这一规划意味着KakaoAI的预期营收将高于该相关板块在2025年预计创下的2.7万亿韩元营收。其中，专门来自AI服务的收入预计在2030年达到约1万亿韩元。

Kakao计划以KakaoTalk即时通讯平台为核心构建其AI业务，将AI技术与广告、电子商务、地图及其他现有服务相连接。公司设定的目标是使其AI服务拥有超过2,000万的日活跃用户，同时将用户在KakaoTalk上的使用时间增加50%。

Kakao预计将于今年10月在开发者大会上展示部分基于KakaoTalk的AI代理功能。这些AI系统旨在理解用户对话及使用场景中的意图，随后连接能够执行所需任务的服务。Kakao希望用户能够在KakaoTalk应用内直接执行并完成各类服务，而无需跳转至其他独立应用程序。

The plan continues Kakao's previously announced strategy of building KakaoTalk into an agent AI interface. With a user base of approximately 500 million, KakaoAI has ready-made distribution channels covering services such as search, recommendation, purchase and payment. To address privacy concerns, the company strives to leave some AI function processing locally on users 'smartphones when possible.

Organizational structure reorganization and division schedule

Kakao received a reorganization plan approved by the board of directors in August, splitting the company into KakaoAI and KakaoX. The split is scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2027, and KakaoAI is expected to be re-listed on the Korea Stock Exchange on January 27, 2027.

After the split, KakaoAI will hold the KakaoTalk platform and businesses involving AI, advertising and commerce; while KakaoX will retain the group's investment function and major interests in the fields of financial technology, content mobility and physical AI. Existing shareholders will receive shares in the two companies based on the planned proportions, with 36% allocated to KakaoAI and 64% allocated to KakaoX.

Cross-business member service system

In addition to structural adjustments, Kakao is also developing a separate group-level member service plan with KakaoTalk as the core, aiming to connect services in areas such as travel, content and business. Jeon Hyun-soo, head of Kakao's business, said the company hopes that users can accumulate benefits when using different Kakao services and have unified access to these benefits in one place.

"The goal is to allow users to use the benefits accumulated across multiple services in one place." He added that Kakao is currently designing and testing a business model, and the details have not yet been finalized before the official launch. Although KakaoAI and KakaoX will become independent companies, the membership program is seen as a way for businesses to continue working together through commercial services and contracts.

KakaoX: Focus on financial technology and emerging technologies

KakaoX has set itself a goal of achieving 10 trillion won in revenue by 2030. Its existing business mainly focuses on financial technology, content and travel. The areas of new business and investment opportunities identified by the company include virtual assets, live entertainment, global fan platforms, Robotaxi (self-driving taxis), Robotruck (self-driving trucks) and physical AI.

Kakao's digital asset layout has gone beyond the scope of payments. As part of its group-level digital asset strategy, KakaoBank is exploring stablecoin issuance and custody services. The bank reviewed plans to enter the stablecoin market in 2025 and worked with the Kakao Group stablecoin working group, which includes Kakao Pay. Since then, KakaoBank has turned to the development of Korean won linked stablecoins and hired blockchain experts with experience in smart contracts. In addition, the bank also participated in the Bank of Korea's central bank digital currency experiment, covering wallet creation, asset exchange and remittance testing.

集团投资组合在今年也经历了调整。5月，韩亚银行同意从Kakao Investments收购Dunamu的股份，交易金额约为1.003万亿韩元（当时约合6.7亿美元）。此次交易涉及韩国加密货币交易所Upbit母公司228万股股份，使韩亚银行获得6.55%的持股。交易完成后，Kakao Investments将保留约140万股Dunamu股份，代表4.03%的持股比例。
