XRP XRP Ledger
According to XRPL's consensus rules, activation of any amendment requires more than 80% of validators support within two weeks. If the approval rating falls below this threshold, the timeline will be reset. Most ongoing support must be ensured before any changes can finally take effect, as a change may gain or lose approval multiple times.
The Batch update, technically code-named XLS-56, allows multiple account XRPL transactions to be executed atomically in a ledger cycle. Previously, this feature has received majority support and was originally planned to be activated on September 29, 2026. However, due to the restart of the voting process, the timetable has now been adjusted.
According to XRPScan data, Batch implementation is expected to be completed on October 9, 2026, and fixBatchV1_2 will also track the same date. Another amendment called permission delegation has also undergone a reset and is expected to be activated on October 8, 2026.
These coordinated efforts highlight the XRP Ledger community's commitment to ensuring robust, synchronized upgrades. As changes are advancing and a new activation date approaches, the network remains committed to strengthening its framework to pave the way for improved transaction processing and greater network reliability.
