FollowingHyperion DeFi becomes a launch partner of Frontier Hyperliquid Vault, helping Hyperliquid ecosystem access domain name resources
Hyperion DeFi (NASDAQ: HYPD) announced that it has become a launch partner of Frontier Hyperliquid Vault. The program is a membership program designed to provide priority access to newly launched Internet top-level domains.
ICANN's New Domain Name Extensions and Vault Mechanism
This cooperation follows a new round of applications by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) in August 2026, which covers more than 1,600 new domain name suffixes, including blockchain-related options such as.crypto,.wallet,.sol and.hype.
Under the Frontier Vault structure, members are required to deposit eligible assets to earn "Frontier Points." Users holding these points will receive priority registration rights over the general public when new domain names are open for registration.
Industry Background and Strategic Cooperation
Fred Hsu, CEO of D3, said in a statement: "Domain names are a multi-billion dollar market with a 25-year institutional history, and the Internet is about to usher in the second major expansion in its history." He sees ICANN's expansion of the scope of new top-level domains as a rare structural opportunity in this market.
