SEC委员赫斯特·皮尔斯辞职，曾被誉为“加密之母”

美国证券交易委员会（SEC）委员赫斯特·皮尔斯（Hester Peirce）已正式提交辞呈，其离职生效日期为10月2日。由于她一贯倡导为加密货币行业制定清晰的监管规则，这位共和党籍委员被业界亲切地称为“加密之母”（Crypto Mom）。

皮尔斯表示，监管机构面临着一项“微妙且至关重要的任务”，即在“合理的监管框架内”，最大化人们自主选择最佳方案的权利。她希望，在主席保罗·阿特金斯（Paul Atkins）和委员马克·尤耶达（Mark Uyeda）的领导下——两人均为共和党人——SEC能够继续秉持这一理念。

自2018年起担任SEC委员以来，皮尔斯于2025年2月被任命为该机构“加密特别工作组”（Crypto Task Force）的主席。在她任职期间，她从未回避对SEC采取“通过执法进行监管”（regulation by enforcement）做法的批评，反而一直呼吁监管机构采取鼓励创新的姿态。

作为加密特别工作组的主席，皮尔斯一直致力于研究如何将现有的证券法适用于加密生态系统。随着特朗普总统于去年1月重返白宫，SEC在加密货币资产监管方面的立场发生了显著转变。该监管机构撤销或和解了针对Ripple、Coinbase等公司的证券违规诉讼案件。

目前，皮尔斯即将离开SEC。此前，Regent大学法学院已于今年5月宣布，她将于今年11月加入该校，担任副教授一职。
