Analysts said Solana's resistance was weak before US$125, and spot demand rebounded.
As several analysts pointed out Solana's technical advantages and increased spot market activity, the cryptocurrency has regained the attention of traders.
Technical analysis shows a clear path to US$125
Cryptocurrency market analyst Gum released chart analysis pointing out that the high-performance Layer-1 blockchain Solana currently faces minimal technical resistance before approaching US$125. Historical data shows that in the last bull cycle, Solana rose from $75 to $140, with little resistance in this range.
Gum pointed out that this price area also provided limited support during the subsequent decline, further confirming the existence of a huge imbalance range between $75 and $140. The analyst explained that based on past price structures, Solana had few technical obstacles before $125, meaning a potential increase of about 64% from current levels.
Whether it goes up or down, the support or resistance between US$75 and US$140 is extremely weak, forming a wide range of price imbalances. There is no strong technical resistance before $125 and there will be significant upside if current trends continue.
Gum also identified a secondary price range between $125 and $143 and warned that price volatility within this range could slow as markets look for new directions. Above $140, multiple variables, including network growth, transaction volume, the expansion of tokenized real-world assets, and future proposals related to Solana token economics, may affect price movements.
Solana is usually among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation and is known for its fast transaction times and an ever-growing ecosystem of decentralized applications and asset tokenization.
Small Dictionary: Tokenized real-world assets (RWAs) refer to digital tokens issued on blockchain, representing physical or traditional financial assets such as stocks, real estate or commodities. These tokens can make transactions and settlements more efficient and transparent.
Solana's spot demand shows signs of strengthening
Ted Pillows, another analyst active in the digital asset space, reported that SOL's spot demand has begun to increase. His analysis focuses on the relationship between spot flows and overall risk appetite in the cryptocurrency market, and points out that the easing of geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran may be improving investor sentiment.
Solana's spot demand is picking up, and if geopolitical risks diminish, the market environment may be conducive to further gains.
Traders pay close attention to spot market activity because it reflects direct buying interest rather than leveraged positions in derivatives. Higher spot volume usually means new money enters the asset, which may affect price trends. Many investors compare spot flow data with perpetual contracts and other derivatives to assess broader momentum.
Although neither Gum nor Ted Pillows provided a forecast for a specific time, both pointed to current technical and emotional drivers influencing the direction of prices. Their comments attracted widespread attention on social media platforms, further driving discussions in the cryptocurrency community.
Network growth and ecosystem development remain a focus
Gum also mentioned other variables that affect Solana's prospects, including network usage, new decentralized applications, and future governance proposals. Among the recent issues, traders are focusing on potential changes that could reduce Solana's inflation rate or introduce a token destruction mechanism based on online activity.
The analyst further pointed out that the growth of the market for tokenized real-world assets in the Solana ecosystem is driving its long-term adoption trend. Investors are also measuring the strength of the blockchain through user retention indicators and the rise of decentralized trading platforms.
As Solana trades near key price levels, market participants remain focused on technical chart signals and on-chain data, paying close attention to changes in momentum or the arrival of further confirmation signals.
