Two platforms remove nine tokens
Japan's @sbi_vc_official and @BITPointJP are removing nine digital assets from their respective platforms as part of a broader service integration in the context of the company's merger.
BITPOINT will stop supporting six tokens, including BNB, DEP, JASMY (JMY), OSHI Token, PEPE and OFFICIAL TRUMP, starting from 13:00 Tokyo time on October 28. At the same time, VCTRADE will also simultaneously remove three assets: Aptos (APT), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Oasis (OAS) before October 28.
The company stated that the decision was based on a comprehensive review of its listed asset service policy and aimed at ensuring a stable and reliable service experience for customers. The purchase service of the standard version of the BITPOINT platform and the trading function of BITPOINT PRO will be terminated early at 16:00 Tokyo time on October 7. In addition, OSHI and JMY deposit acceptance services will also close at the same time. Any open orders left on BITPOINT PRO will be automatically cancelled.
Holders who wish to exit should note that all selling and withdrawal operations must be completed before October 28. After that, the remaining balance in the account will be cleared at market prices and converted into Japanese yen in November and credited to the account.
To help customers cope with the upcoming deadline, BITPOINT has opened coin withdrawal services for BNB, PEPE and TRUMP since September 4. Previously, these three types of tokens did not support direct chain withdrawal. This expansion service provides customers with a more convenient exit channel.
Merge background and Jasmy's response
Behind this removal notice is a larger corporate restructuring plan. According to the arrangement, BITPOINT's services will be integrated into SBI VC Trade's VCTRADE platform before the end of December 2026. Previously, SBI VC Trade completed the absorption of BITPOINT Japan through absorption and merger on April 1.
Jasmy CEO @H_Hara_Jasmy quickly responded to reassure the community, confirming that the suspension was only due to BITPOINT's internal processing policies and did not reflect any changes in Jasmy protocol business activities or the Jasmy Chain development roadmap.
As early as January 2026, Jasmy completed an important milestone in its development history-launched JasmyChain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network built based on Arbitrum Orbit technology. This transformed JASMY from a simple ERC-20 utility token to a native Gas token for the entire blockchain.
For JASMY holders, this removal comes at a sensitive period. Recently, the token has faced similar actions on other Asian exchanges. Investors in affected assets are advised to take action as soon as possible and must complete relevant operations before the purchase deadline of October 7 and the final withdrawal deadline of October 28 to avoid losses due to automatic liquidation.
