Will XRP skyrocket after the CLARITY bill is passed? Experts give clear answers
Crypto commentator Digital Asset Investor responded to a question circulating in the XRP community: Will XRP soar after the passage of the CLARITY Act? His answers covered two scenarios, and his confidence remained unwavering regardless of the vote outcome.
If the bill passes
He bluntly said: "If it passes, it will soar." The Senate cloture vote on September 15 is now the focus of market attention, with 60 votes needed to advance the legislation. All 53 Republican senators have pledged to vote yes, and seven to 10 Democrats are reportedly preparing to align themselves.
What if the bill fails?
Digital Asset Investor does not believe that voting failure is final. He believes that if the CLARITY Act fails to pass, the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission) and the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) will step in and start writing the rules directly within days. He said the market will eventually realize that regulation will eventually come. He predicts that once this understanding is established, the price of XRP will slowly rise.
He also believes that the short-term decline in this situation is an opportunity. "That for me was an accumulation signal, a buying opportunity," he said.
Liquidity and Two-Year Window
Digital Asset Investor's prospects are not limited to just one vote. He predicts that as regulatory clarity attracts new capital, the total market value of cryptocurrencies will exceed the current level of US$2.6 trillion. He believes that the process of embedding digital assets into the broader economy will accelerate over the next two years. "You will see liquidity starting to flow into cryptocurrencies," he said.
This timetable is consistent with institutions 'growing interest in XRP and the entire digital asset space. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent urged the Senate to advance the CLARITY Act, warning that without action, the United States could fall behind on digital assets. The bill's designer, Senator Cynthia Lummis, pointed out that Democrats helped shape the legislation and won more than 100 victories in the final text.
What this means for XRP
The CLARITY Act establishes a federal regulatory framework that defines which digital assets fall within the jurisdiction of the SEC and which fall within the authority of the CFTC. Given Ripple's history with the SEC and XRP's status as one of the assets most directly affected by regulatory results, XRP holders have been watching this legislation closely.
Digital Asset Investor's core message is consistent. The direction of supervision has been set. A yes vote will immediately accelerate price movement. A no vote would temporarily delay it, but then achieve the same result through regulatory action. His advice is simple: "Lock up positions anyway."
