Ethereum's positive momentum continues, supported by institutional demand and market structure

According to recent analysis, Ethereum's positive momentum is still continuing, and institutional demand and favorable market structure provide support for its further growth. Despite the recent price correction, market participants are paying close attention to a number of technical and institutional factors that may signal a broader upward trend for Ethereum.

Institutional interest and ETF holdings

As of the latest data, the trading price of Ethereum (ETH) is US$2,436.17, the 24-hour trading volume is US$14.07 billion, and the market value is US$294.02 billion. Although ETH has fallen 2.31% in the past 24 hours, industry analysts believe its market structure is still conducive to future upswings.

Cryptocurrency analyst Crypto Patel pointed out that ETH is approaching a long-term trend line resistance level, with $2,600 marked as a key level to confirm bullish momentum. Patel said that if Ethereum can stabilize above that level, it could spark stronger bullish sentiment and lay the foundation for a broader rally.

At the same time, evidence of institutional involvement continues to accumulate, further supporting Ethereum's positive prospects. Blockchain intelligence platform Arkham reported that BlackRock's Ethereum ETF (code ETHA) has purchased more than US$1 billion worth of ETH in the past nine days, totaling US$1.02 billion. During this period, ETHA did not have any net selling activity.

Price Targets and Technology Outlook

Analysts identified US$2,600 as a key resistance level and believed that a successful breakthrough and stable closure above the region would strengthen bullish momentum. If this happens, the target range for the next round of gains is expected to be US$5,000 to US$7,000.

Despite these goals, Ethereum has pulled back to US$2,436.17 due to sideways consolidation in the broader crypto market, including Bitcoin. Crypto Patel pointed out that if prices fall to the $2,000 to $1,800 range, it could provide another opportunity to enter the next major market. On the other hand, if increased holdings and buying pressures continue, it may push ETH towards a higher price.

BlackRock ETHA Fund continued to buy for nine consecutive days without net selling, highlighting the strong demand for ETH during this period and indicating that the current price structure may be supported.

Market risks and outlook

Although bullish forecasts and ETF purchases have provided optimism for Ethereum, the price trend is still downward in the short term. The broader crypto market trend, especially the sideways performance of Bitcoin, has affected the recent price behavior of ETH.

Market participants are watching whether Ethereum can regain and stand firm at $2,600. If this level is successfully held, it may strengthen bullish sentiment; if it fails to break through, there is a risk of a correction to the US$2,000 to US$1,800 range.

Analysts also stressed that if the continued trend of BlackRock's ETHA ETF holdings continues, it will have a positive impact on market sentiment. However, changes in capital inflow patterns could change current expectations.

Ethereum's next move will depend on the price's performance against the key resistance level of $2,600 and the persistence of large-scale institutional buying. The next few trading sessions could lay the foundation for the next important trend in ETH.
