Ethereum ends months-of-month decline against Bitcoin, with ETF inflows reaching US$104 million

Ethereum's long-term decline relative to Bitcoin appears to have reached a critical turning point, with the world's second-largest cryptocurrency showing new technical strength and a surge in institutional investment.

Technical signals point to bullish momentum

Technical analyst Axel Kibar (CMT) pointed out that the ETH/BTC trading pair changed significantly after Ethereum rebounded from a local low of 0.0269 to 0.02918. On the dollar chart, Kibar observed that Ethereum climbed from approximately $1510 to $1880, breaking through the horizontal neckline and transforming $1842 into an important support level. These movements provide the basis for a potential bullish pattern target price of $2163, provided that prices remain stable above key thresholds.

Market participants are watching closely whether this technical reversal can continue its momentum, as Ethereum has been under pressure from Bitcoin for months. Kibar's analysis shows that if prices can consolidate above established resistance levels, they are optimistic about a continued upward trend.

If Ethereum can maintain support above $1842, classic technical analysis sets the next bullish target at $2163, reflecting the market's renewed optimism about Ethereum.

Dominance in tokenization and RWA asset growth

In addition to chart dynamics, Ethereum's dominance in real-world assets continues to reinforce long-term optimistic expectations. The latest data from RWA.xyz shows that traditional capital tokenized on the Ethereum network has now reached US$17.1 billion, exceeding the combined value of other mainstream blockchains such as Solana and BNB Chain.

Flagship projects such as BlackRock's BUIDL Fund and more than 1370 major issuers have chosen Ethereum's smart contracts for deployment, driving strong demand for Ethereum, as network fees are paid entirely in its native currency. Billions of dollars in tokenized transaction flows from traditional finance have generated continued organic demand, especially from institutional market participants.

As market participants assess these changes, it becomes increasingly important to focus on platforms that connect traditional finance and blockchain finance.

ETF capital inflows and market sentiment warming

Recent capital flow data confirms that traditional investors 'interest in Ethereum is picking up. According to SoValue, the outflows that occurred in May and June have been fully absorbed, indicating that the market has regained confidence in the asset.

For the week ended July 24, Ethereum exchange-traded funds recorded a net inflow of US$103.9 million-the third consecutive week of positive inflows. The total net assets managed by these funds reached US$10.17 billion, and weekly trading volume stabilized at US$2.78 billion.

Analysts view these institutional inflows as a key factor supporting Ethereum price stability, especially at a time when overall trading activity in the crypto market is typically sluggish.

Ethereum's dominance in tokenized real-world assets, coupled with the return of institutional capital, highlights its unique growth position within the industry.

As technical, fundamentals and investment drivers converge, Ethereum is expected to overcome months of weak performance relative to Bitcoin in the rest of the summer.
