German analysts reveal XRP's next big test

XRP faces critical technical tests or determines whether its price trend can continue to move upwards.

Crypto Blockchain Researcher BankXRP shared the views of a German market analyst. The analyst believes that XRP must first break through a major resistance area before traders can be convinced that the current trend is a true upward trend.

The analyst identified the range of $1.15 to $1.60 as the next important resistance range for XRP. According to his assessment, if prices could break through this area cleanly and subsequently be confirmed successfully back tested, this would provide stronger evidence that XRP is moving towards higher retracement levels.

XRP needs breakthrough and backtest confirmation

BankXRP summarized the analyst's views on the X platform, pointing out that XRP's "next major test is the resistance zone" and that before this current trend can be regarded as a real rise, cryptocurrencies need to achieve "clean breakthrough + backtest."

In the accompanying video, the German analyst said traders should avoid being overly optimistic before the XRP clears the resistance area. He set the key resistance area between US$1.15 and US$1.60 and pointed out that XRP needs to break through this area, possibly completing a backtest, and then continuing upward.

He said: "If it breaks through this area, maybe after the backtest, and continues to move up, then we can say, okay, we are clearly in the upward channel and entering the retracement level."

This means that the analyst wants to seek confirmation through the price structure, rather than simply treating breaking through resistance levels as sufficient evidence of a continued trend.

Analysts compared the structure of the XRP to previous trends

The analyst also compared the current settings of the XRP with the broader market patterns he observed. He described the structure as "somewhat comparable" and said XRP was still below what he believed to be the second major resistance area.

He pointed out that Elysium has broken through this resistance level, while XRP has not. Analysts attributed part of the difference to XRP's tendency to start markets slightly later than comparator assets. Although XRP is currently below resistance, he expressed confidence that XRP can follow a similar "consolidation → pull-up → consolidation" sequence. BankXRP also summarized this expected structure in its post as "consolidation → pull-up → consolidation", implying that a consolidation phase may occur again after stronger upward movement.

The performance of spot XRP ETFs is also included in the analysis

The German analyst also talked about the recent performance of spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs). He described the recent week as "exciting" and added that the previous week's performance was also strong.

However, his technical outlook remains focused on whether XRP can overcome the $1.15 to $1.60 resistance zone. For him, breaking through the area, followed by a successful backtest and extending the rally, would provide the clearest confirmation signal yet that XRP has entered a broader upward phase. Until then, he seemed to believe that the current structure still needed further confirmation.
