On September 12, South Korean Bitcoin experienced a "kimchi premium" of 1.18%

As of the early morning of September 12 (Korean Standard Time), the trading price of Bitcoin (BTC) on the South Korean Upbit Exchange was 106.84 million won, an increase of 2.03% from the previous day. On Binance, the global exchange, the price of BTC is 105.59 million won, with a price difference of 1.25 million won between the two, reflecting a "kimchi premium" of 1.18%.

As the leading altcoin, Ethereum (ETH) has also seen a 1.09% kimchi premium. Other major altcoins also trade at a premium, with Solana (SOL) at a premium of 1.06%, XRP at 1.02%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.86%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.04%. Currently, the kimchi premium for most mainstream altcoins is concentrated in the range of 0.8% to 1.0%.
