BTC momentum weakens: Are more losses coming?

Technical analysis shows that when the Smooth Similarity Moving Average (MACD) line and signal line are both below the zero axis, the asset is in a clear macro downward trend. This crossover suggests that short-term bearish momentum is accelerating in the existing downward trend.

This confirmed strong selling pressure, indicating sellers are dominant and continue to push BTC prices lower. However, these two lines are already well below the zero-axis; at the same time, attention needs to be paid to oversold conditions or weakening selling volume, which could lead to a rally.

In addition, the Bitcoin Daily Relative Strength Index (RSI) closed at 41.30, putting it into the neutral zone, slightly leaning towards the short side of the midline. This suggests that recent selling momentum has exceeded buying pressure, but not enough to push the market into oversold territory.

The low value of more than 40 points reflects moderate consolidation or a moderate correction in a larger trend. Traders often view this level as a wait-and-see area. It is far from reaching the threshold of extreme oversold or overbought; the current trend lacks high confidence momentum in either direction.
