BTC Ducat announced integration with TRON Network to expand stablecoin applications in Bitcoin's native financial infrastructure
The British Virgin Islands, September 17, 2026 -Ducat today announced an integrated partnership with TRON Network, aiming to leverage the USDT (TRC-20 format) enables faster and lower-cost decentralized settlement and liquidity flow, thereby broadening its scope of application in Bitcoin's native financial infrastructure. Through this integration, Ducat users can use USDT as their main settlement asset and use wUNIT on the TRON network. wUNIT is the TRC-20 representation of Ducat's bitcoin-backed dollar asset UNIT on the TRON network. UNIT is still issued on the Bitcoin network with its corresponding BTC as collateral; wUNIT allows that value to flow on the TRON network and interact with USDT liquidity.
Users can choose to hold wUNIT or directly convert it into USDT through a dedicated stablecoin liquidity pool. Liquidity providers can inject both assets and receive a share of transaction fees generated by the liquidity pool. The integration connects Ducat's Bitcoin native credit engine with TRON's stablecoin network, while keeping its underlying collateral and issuance mechanisms anchored to Bitcoin. The architecture clearly distinguishes the functions at each level: Bitcoin provides underlying value and collateral, Ducat manages monetary and credit logic, and TRON provides a scalable settlement environment. This enables bitcoin-backed liquidity to flow directly into TRON's stablecoin ecosystem, supporting payments, capital movement, and other on-chain financial workflows.
