钱包增长与门槛的变化
2024 年 1 月，XRP 账本记录了约 504 万个账户。到了 2026 年 9 月，这一数字已增长至约 811 万，增幅超过 60%。尽管规模有所扩张，但在所有主要百分位区间内，被视为顶级持有者所需的 XRP 数量却普遍下降。

So while the top percentile group has become easier to enter in terms of absolute XRP numbers, this does not necessarily indicate a redistribution of wealth from whales (large households) to small holders. Instead, the growing number of accounts dilutes the token threshold needed to enter the highest categories.
Implications for XRP holders
These percentile changes highlight XRP's increasingly large and diverse user base. However, experts warned that this data should not be directly interpreted as a signal of a change in the degree of network decentralization, nor should it be seen as a harbinger of imminent price fluctuations.
The lower threshold may imply broader ownership, but it may also be due to new custodians and operating wallets rather than organic retail growth. The underlying ledger data cannot distinguish between these different types of accounts or usage patterns.
Accounts holding 50,000 XRPs can easily be ranked among the top 1% of holders in 2026, but will not meet this standard in 2024. This shift reflects the rapid growth of the network and changes in wallet demographics, rather than a redistribution of existing XRP wealth.
The expansion of the top percentile group and lower entry requirements may signal more distribution among users, but this does not automatically mean that the network has become more decentralized, nor does it mean that major holders have reduced their positions.
As the top holder club continues to grow, the meaning of joining it solely based on the XRP balance becomes increasingly blurred. How we will observe the future of these new accounts participating in and shaping the XRP ecosystem remains to be tested by time.
