ONDO 美国SEC推出新框架，Ondo Finance原生代币ONDO应声大涨

该平台允许合格的非美国投资者通过基于区块链的代币，间接持有数百只美国股票和ETF的头寸。Ondo表示，其代币化证券由相应的底层证券及在途现金支持，资产通过美国注册的经纪交易商或美国特许信托公司持有。
Ondo's broker-dealer subsidiary, Oasis Pro Markets, has also been authorized by the U.S. Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) to cover tokenized stocks and funds for U.S. investors, including secondary trading and settlement using fiat or supported stablecoins.
In addition, the company has expanded tokenized stock products to Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana networks, and supports transactions through various wallets, exchanges and decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. That makes the SEC's latest actions particularly critical to Ondo.
The regulator said its "innovation exemption" would allow eligible TSVs to use licensed automated market makers and liquidity pools to facilitate secondary trading of tokenized NMS shares. The exemption is temporary and will expire five years from the date of issuance. At the same time, the exemption comes with a number of conditions, including restrictions on the number and trading volume of shares, requirements on shareholder rights and public disclosure, and a requirement that when underlying shares are suspended on major exchanges, the corresponding tokenized shares must also cease trading.
Oondo welcomes the move
Peter Curley, global head of regulatory affairs at Ondo Finance, said in an interview that the SEC's actions demonstrate that the agency can use existing authority to advance tokenization. "Just two days after the CLARITY bill failed in the Senate, the SEC issued an innovation exemption using its own authority. Chairman Atkins called it a step forward "within its legal authority." That's the proof point we've been pointing out: The SEC doesn't need new legislation, it's proven it."
Curley表示，Ondo将此豁免视为迈向永久性规则的步骤，并打算参与SEC围绕代币化证券的持续讨论。目前，SEC正在就该豁免及潜在后续步骤征求公众意见。
